Shelters for our brothers

As you may know the earthquake devastation left many homeless, thus shelters are priority for those who are still left sleeping on the streets. A survey among the people that had really damaged homes and a shelter design that will work in present conditions was prepared: a shelter model that will last for 8-10 months (hopefully time to rebuild the houses), at a cost of US$ 100 per shelter; it is not much in size, about 25 m2 (250 feet2) but it will give shelter to at least one family.

We are asking your generosity to participate by donating any money possible to cover the expenses of the Shelters. The Non Government Organization (NGO) Pro-Laran a non profit association based in Chincha, is organizing to provide 1000 shelters; they will not give money to the people directly but will supply them the shelters.
