Designed for Werner Herzog’s filmmaking workshop in Madre de Dios, the Inkaterra Canopy Center is a conference hall in the midst of the Amazon rainforest. At walking distance from Amazon Field Station byInkaterra, it is an ideal facility for outdoor training and academic courses, as certified by the recent events organized by the Smithsonian Institution and National Geographic.
Established at the foot of the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway, this Machiguenga-style meeting room is enhanced with solar-powered WiFi connection, AV system, restrooms and coffee-break lounge. A palm-thatched roof and panoramic windows provide a sense of open space, deep focus and closeness to the pristine rainforest.
