Inkaterra has had a busy and successful start to 2015 for both our hotels and their destinations! Here are some highlights so far…
40 Years of Inkaterra
2015 marks the 40th year of Inkaterra. To celebrate, we are running exciting new initiatives throughout the year to demonstrate what we do and who has helped us along the way to become one of the world’s premier sustainable hotel groups. National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World
We were pleased to have greeted the New Year with the news that the Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel was awarded as a founding member of the National Geographic Society’s newest foray in world-class travel experiences. National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World is a collection of boutique hotels in extraordinary places that demonstrate commitment to sustainability, authenticity and excellence.
Audobon Photography Awards
Inkaterra have extended a prize comprising a five-night stay at Tambopata, Machu Picchu granted a five-night itinerary at Tambopata, Machu Picchu and Urumbamba as the professional prize for the 2015 Audobon Photography Awards. The deadline for entries is 23rd February.
Inkaterra Asociación Announces its 9th Workshop to Educate Youth on Sustainability
Through a range of activities including games and crafts, children attending the workshop will be educated on environmental issues, sustainability and eco-tourism. It is hoped from these workshops, children will then extend the message to friends and family.
