Born and raised in Cusco, Wilfred was marveled at an early age by Peru’s cultural richness and with the story of his ancestors, which led him to learn quechua and to become an official travel guide. After concluding his studies at the Antonio Lorena Institute, we worked in museums, travel agencies and private tours. After being an explorer guide at Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción in the Tambopata National Reserve (Madre de Dios), he moved to Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, where he keeps nurturing his great hobby: bird photography.
Eric was born in Cusco. During his childhood he lived with his grandparents in the Maras community, a place that lured him towards ancestral cultures, and native flora and fauna. He graduated as Official Tourism Guide at the Tupac Amaru Institute, and soon became an adventure travel guide in the Cusco region. His love for nature led him to his current profession as Explorer Guide at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, where he shares his knowledge on ancestral culture and biodiversity with all the travelers he meets.
Ronald was born in Cusco city. When he was a child he used to travel to the field and cultural sites with his parents, which made him feel a profound respect and admiration towards nature and culture. He studied at the Universidad Andina del Cusco, to later work in various companies related to hospitality, tourism, railway transportation. He is now an explorer guide at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, where he nurtures his vocation.
Oscar was born in the city of Cusco. He became a tourism guide due to the passion and peacefulness he found in nature, as well as his interest towards customs in high Andean communities. At age 16, he moved to the Bolivian rainforest. For two years he enjoyed learning about the great biodiversity found in the Amazon.
He studied Tourism at the Tupac Amaru Institute (Cusco), and currently works as an explorer guide at Amazon Field Station byInkaterra.
