POD OF DOLPHINS SWIMMING NEXT TO
THE MISS TEXAS

Former ESPN host Captain Norm Isaacs was sailing Cabo Blanco waters onboard the Miss Texas, Alfred Glassell and Ernerst Hemingway’s iconic fishing boat, when a pod of spinner dolphins (Stenella longirostris) approached the watercraft. Commonly found in off-shore tropical waters, these dolphins are known for their acrobatic displays. “Though dolphins are not much of an indicator of good fishing as they are residential and are always in the area, we catch a lot of tuna around them,” said Captain Norm.
