Editor Rafaella León from Somos Magazine (El Comercio) ventured into the Tambopata National Reserve, deep in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, to explore its extraordinary biodiversity – home to over 600 bird species, jaguars, monkeys, caiman, and giant river otters. Staying at the gracious Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica, Rafaella praised the eco-luxury lodge’s philosophy of conservation and an environment that “fully awakens all senses.”

You can also enjoy the Canopy Walkway at dusk, a hanging bridge system at 100ft off the ground, with observation platforms facing the immensity of the Amazon basin seen above the treetops. An amazing spectacle to spot various species of monkeys in their natural habitat.”
Rafaella also highlights her visit to the quiet and enigmatic Lake Sandoval: “A wild, magical landscape to silently explore native fauna.”
